Knowing which side to take can often be challenging, but Israel has eliminated any uncertainty.
This clarity provides comfort and motivation to honest people who are otherwise torn by doubts. An aggressor and a victim, but this time it is much, much more evident than in other cases. With the genocide in Gaza and today’s attack on Iran, Israel has given us a privilege: we have definitive proof that evil lies in Jerusalem and has its roots in D.C..We have identified our real enemy.
We now know where the danger comes from. Israel is the evil that lurks within us, the “Rosemary’s Baby”(quote Biljana Vankovska) that corrupts our consciences and devours our souls.Israel is within us because Western corrupt regimes, with no exception, have supported it and continue to support it. We can give up condemning Nazism and fascism as symbols of violence and totalitarianism: Israel has taken up the torch of Nazism and fascism as the torchbearer of absolute evil. Those with a conscience have always said this. Western democracies have turned into regimes, and many citizens are hypocritical, manipulated, and complicit.
They have not condemned Israel after: (a) Creating this criminal and colonialist state; (b) Supporting it at every turn, right up to the genocide in Gaza; (c) Tolerating its ongoing violations of international law without imposing any sanctions; (d) Forgiving it for the most ferocious reprisals and systematic assassinations outside any international law. There is no more criminal country than Israel in the world, but Israel is us (and U.S., of course)…
If Western countries want to clean up their conscience, they must exorcise the evil that is devouring them.Israel proves that if you arm yourself, sooner or later, you will use your weapons and force others to react in the same way. The limit has been exceeded: now, anyone will feel entitled to solve problems with violence, pace the U.N.Will we be able to liberate ourselves before Armageddon?
