One Scapegoat Is Not Enough
The imminent backlash from the wave of hatred will soon overwhelm Netanyahu and his criminal government. The first signs are already visible. The world’s condemnation is unanimous; how could it be otherwise? However, in Europe and the United States, the words have yet to be translated into action.
However, there is a danger that must be heeded.
Sooner or later (hopefully sooner), the criminal government of the Zionist State will fall, and Netanyahu will be blamed for all Israeli crimes. He will become the scapegoat for all the other misdeeds committed by different governments in the past.
The government that replaces him will be allowed to continue the policy of apartheid, discrimination, occupation, genocide, illegality, and violence more subtly and hypocritically. This policy dates back to well before the Netanyahu government and has been in place since the founding of Israel, or at least since the occupation of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
It will not be enough to change the extremist government in power in Israel today. It will be necessary to replace an entire ruling class on the right and left, as well as the very idea of the State of Israel.
This is what is at stake: the game will conclude with the establishment of a State of Palestine free from ethnic or religious discrimination. A similar situation has already unfolded in South Africa, thanks to Mandela and, above all, de Klerk. It was made possible due to international pressure, which is currently not being applied to Israel.
It is not enough to blame one single government, though exceptionally criminal, without realizing that the whole system is rotten, and the people have been manipulated to the point of giving their consent to exterminate 60,000 women and children, destroy an entire city, and starve its inhabitants.
